Trailing Suction Hopper Dredge, Cornelis Zanen
(CoZa)
Backhoe Dredge, Storken (Yarra River, services
protection)
Dredge material placed in:
South East Dredge Material Ground (Material from
Entrance)
Port of Melbourne Dredge Material Ground, Confined Aquatic
Disposal Facility (Material from Yarra River and Port Melbourne
Channel)
Visible outcomes of works: Turbid plumes can be
expected in the vicinity of dredging works.
Please maintain a safe distance from dredging equipment at all
times. For information on restricted access areas around vessels

Dredging works: The grab dredge, Goomai,
is scheduled
to
dredge
in Williamstown Channel and Yarra River today.
The CoZa
is in Singapore where it will undergo routine
maintenance. The vessel is scheduled to return in early
December, resuming work in
the northern part of the bay.
The Storken will continue services protection works in the
Yarra River.
Please note changed traffic conditions now apply
in the Yarra River. For more information click

Dredging works: Queen of the
Netherlands
is in Singapore where its
mid-ship section will
be lengthened by
about 50 metres.
This work is scheduled for completion in
March next year, following which the Queen of the
Netherlands
is scheduled to
return to Melbourne.
