Restricted Access Areas

Dredging operations as part of the Channel Deepening Project will be occurring in sections of Port Phillip Bay until late 2009.

Restricted access areas, under the Port Services Act 1995 (Vic.), apply around dredging vessels operating in port waters. The full details of the Restricted Access Areas can be found here.

To view the Victorian Government Gazette No. S 233 please follow this link>>

All bay users should be mindful of restricted access areas and in the interest of personal safety keep clear of all dredging equipment.
