Port of Melbourne Corporation hits out at false
statements on channel deepening - 22 July 2003 The
Port of Melbourne Corporation has dismissed as nonsense claims that
any deepening works at the heads and in Port Phillip Bay may cause
flooding around the bay. Damien O’Brien, the corporation’s Project
Director for channel deepening, said expert evidence proved this
